was born and raised in California. Her poetic memoir Mother Is a Place was released on September 15, 2026 with Dopamine Books. Her novella California was published by Teenage Teardrops in 2008. Her prose, poetry, and art writing has appeared in Artforum, Inventory, Khôra, Printeresting, index, This Long Century, the LA Weekly, and many other publications. She is currently a Professor and the director of the Creative Writing Program at Stonehill College where she curates the Raymo Literary Series. She lives with her family in Providence, RI. Judith Enck is the founder and president of Beyond Plastics, whose goal is eliminating plastic pollution everywhere. In 2009, she was appointed by President Obama to serve as regional administrator at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and served as deputy secretary for the environment in the New York Governor’s Office. Mark Nowak’s books include Shut Up Shut Down, Coal Mountain Elementary, Social Poetics, and …AGAIN, all from Coffee House Press. Nowak’s work on poetry by incarcerated writers of the 1970s includes his introduction to Celes Tisdale’s When the Smoke Cleared: Attica Prison Poems and Journal (Duke University Press, 2022) and his essay “Workshops of Abolition: Attica Print Culture and Small Press Poetry,” published in The Political Uses of Literature: Global Perspectives and Theoretical Approaches, 1920-2020 (Bloomsbury, 2024). Sallie Fullerton is a writer living in Hudson, New York.
