DARCEY STEINKE is the author of the memoir Easter Everywhere and the novels Milk, Jesus Saves, Suicide Blonde, Up Through the Water, and Sister Golden Hair. She has taught at the Columbia University School of the Arts, Barnard, The American University of Paris, and Princeton.
NICK FLYNN has worked as a ship's captain, an electrician, and as a caseworker with homeless adults. He is currently a professor on the creative writing faculty at the University of Houston, where he is in residence each spring. His most recent book is My Feelings, a collection of poems.
Followed by a DJ set from Dawn Breeze.

She brings a sweet minstrel magic on her ukelele that has a way of "sticking gently to your soul." She featured Maya on upright bass on her recent debut albumn "New Moon".

She's made many more records before this one, and has been featured on All Things Considered, CNN, Late Night With Conan O'Brien, Mountain Stage, World Cafe<, PBS's Speaking Freely, PRI's Whad'ya Know, and on BBC 6 Music's Marc Riley Show<. She's been a panelist and performer at CMJ, Lilith Fair, South By Southwest, Folk Alliance and Rockrgl conferences and Southern Festival Of Books and has had her portrait drawn for the New Yorker.
Her songs have been covered by They Might Be Giants, Ronnie Spector and Laura Cantrell and featured in films and TV shows. Her song "Dancing With Joey Ramone" is a staple of Little Steven's Underground Garage show on Sirius XM.
